A California native with deep roots in the Philippines, Fermina ‘Mina’ Phillips is dedicated to elevating brands that prioritize innovation and social impact. Through her latest writing project, she explores the nuanced complexities of growing up as a first-generation Filipina American.
An MBA graduate of UC Berkeley Haas, Mina’s career in marketing included roles at Bank of America, Gap, Pottery Barn Kids and Sephora.
In 2021, she co-founded The Christopher and Fermina Phillips Charitable Fund to support the transformative power of arts and education.
Her community leadership includes three years on the Oakland Asian Cultural Center Board of Directors and marketing consulting for Start Small Think Big.
Mina lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her family, where she enjoys Pilates, golf, and the latest in fashion and beauty.
